This comprehensive document contains educational materials for cancer survivors indexed by topic. This complementary set of patient education materials are meant to enhance patient follow-up visits.
Bi-monthly Education for Cancer Survivors
Dr. Patti will post a Health Link(s) from Children's Oncology Group or other trusted resource every other month to offer information on late effects of cancer therapy. Please get in touch with your physician or Dr. Patti if you have questions. Recommended evaluations and treatment will be provided by your own physician.

Symptom Burden in Childhood Cancer
Childhood cancer survivors may experience individual symptom burden related to medical complications as well as fatigue, chronic pain, nausea, anxiety, depression, and diminished social interactions that impact quality of life. Senior author I-Chan Huang and colleagues at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital describe symptom identification as an important new focus of the survivorship encounter.
