Our Patients

Complex Kids

Our patients are infants, toddlers, children, adolescents, and young adults ranging in age from birth to 21 years.

Medically Fragile

Our patients are babies, children, teens, and young adults who require special care for breathing, feeding, seeing, hearing, talking, walking, eliminating, and relating to others.

Our patients are babies born prematurely; those with genetic conditions (birth defects); heart, lung, kidney, intestinal, neurological, and/or other organ system problems; those who have had surgeries or procedures such as feeding tubes, VP shunts, and tracheostomies.

Chronic Conditions

Our patients are toddlers, children, teenagers, and young adults with cerebral palsy, cystic fibrosis, asthma, inflammatory bowel disease, seizures, developmental delay, or other disorders that make life challenging.

Genetic and Metabolic Disorders

Infants and children with Down Syndrome; trisomy 13, 18, and other genetic conditions are welcome to the practice. Patti's Place also serves those with metabolic diseases.

Hospice and Pediatric Palliative Care

Our patients may already be enrolled in hospice. They may benefit from pediatric input for feeding, drooling, breathing difficulty, stiffening, seizures, or other supportive measures as part of concurrent care.

Survivors of Childhood, Adolescent, and Young Adult Cancer

Patients of any age who have completed therapy for a pediatric malignancy may receive education to guide them in next steps to health and wellness. Those who are still receiving treatment can be seen for symptom management and supportive care as they fulfill their cancer journey.
